I’ve always believed in giving back, because it was so hard for me. I had no idea or help in identifying what I wanted to be and how to become it. So, my foundation is launching an initiative that offers a unique program to help elementary, middle and high school students identify potential career paths and create a plan tailored to their interests and strengths. Through an innovative educational program, that connects students with professionals who provide real-world advice, guidance, and insights into various career fields.

1.      Career Exploration and Interest Matching: Students are encouraged to explore different fields by asking questions about careers that align with their interests. We help students discover new industries or jobs they may not have considered before, helping them broaden their perspective and match their passions with potential careers.

2.     Guidance on Educational Pathways: We mentor and often advise students on which educational pathways—whether college, trade school, apprenticeships, or military—are best suited to their chosen careers. We provide practical advice on how to pursue these paths, such as what certifications are necessary for trade jobs, what degrees are required for professional fields, or how to gain hands-on experience.

3.     Career Planning Tools: Teaching students how to access resources and tools for planning their career journeys empowers them throughout their lifetime. This includes advice on resume building, soft skills development, interview techniques, and how to gain work experience through internships, volunteering, or part-time jobs. This structured guidance helps students create a detailed plan for reaching their career goals.

4.     Diverse Career Insights: We have the ability to tap into a large and diverse network of professionals, offering students exposure to a variety of industries, including tech, healthcare, education, finance, and the arts. This variety ensures that students can find mentors who understand their unique interests and provide guidance relevant to a wide array of career paths.​
 

5.     Career Mentorship: We also offer the opportunity where students can ask career-related questions, and volunteers from a wide range of industries provide personalized responses. This direct interaction allows students to gain insights into specific careers, the education or training required, and day-to-day job responsibilities. The mentorship is flexible and scalable, allowing students from any location to participate.
